At the dawn of digital technology, in 1976 in Ahstätten near Ulm, Karl-Heinz Andes, Fritz Guter and Johann Bolkart founded the ACD Group. The start was successful. The company includes three divisions ACD Czech sro and ACD USA Inc., ACD Antriebstechnik GmbH, ACD Systemtechnik GmbH. There are four factories: two in Germany, and one each in the United States and the Czech Republic.
The company produces innovative electronics for portable devices. Develops applications in the field of trade logistics, retail sales, medicine, engineering, medical electronics, traffic management, production processes, protection technologies, produces electronic control devices: radio and cable accessories, remote consoles.
